Dale Jones has seen
his share of fixer-uppers. In his spare time, he buys,
refurbishes and sells houses. Dale, a sales consultant at
Harolds for the past 30 years, likes to “find something
glamorous and neglected, and then I have to romance it a bit.”
He does most of the work – painting, wallpapering, landscaping –
by himself. With an eye for color, Jones insists that the
entire house must flow, both inside and out. He also loves to
mix the old with the new, incorporating family heirlooms and
beautiful antiques with modern finds from Houston’s finest
stores.
