Raquel started her career as a seamstress in California working
for a textile manufacturer. Her job there was to cut the
different patterns for the various fabrics and styles. Raquel
and her family moved to Houston and she has been an employee of
Harolds’ tailor shop for 14 years. Raquel’s passion is cooking,
especially Mexican dishes. Her specialty is enchiladas, and her
family’s favorite is cheese enchiladas. It’s a good thing
because Raquel has a very big family, beside her husband, her
two children, and three grandchildren; she has seven sisters and
three brothers who all gather at her house to eat!
