10 th Annual Bad Pants Open Golf Tournament Raises $235,000

On October 9 th, Harolds was once again a proud sponsor of the annual Bad Pants Open Golf Tournament benefiting Texas Children’s Hospital. The event drew hundreds people to the Cypress Wood Golf Club where participants competed to raise funds for TCH’s Newborn Center. Since its inception, the charity has raised almost 1 million dollars. Many thanks to everyone who showed their support for such a worthy cause. We are proud to be a part of such a benevolent community. We are also excited to announce that Michael Wiesenthal will chair the event next year!
   
Rediscovering the Heights 19th Street Wine Stroll | 05.31.2007

Harolds “in the Heights” recently celebrated our 57th birthday during the Rediscovering the Heights 19th Street Wine Stroll hosted by Houston Area Lexus Dealers and Houston Magazine. The store was open late and we had a fantastic turnout of strollers who enjoyed hors d'oevres and wine provide by Camel Road Winery. Strollers were also treated to live models in the store window and great shopping on summer fashions throughout the store. The event was a huge success and a great way to kick off our 57th year in The Heights.

2nd Annual Golf Tournament

Memorial Park Conservancy, Inc. hosted
its 2nd Annual Golf Tournament honoring philanthropist Harold Wiesenthal, on Tuesday, May 22, 2007. The tournament raised over $98,000 to benefit the ongoing programs and enhancement efforts of Memorial Park Conservancy in cooperation with Houston Parks & Recreation Department.

Memorial Park Conservancy's mission is to protect, preserve and enhance Memorial Park in accordance with the wishes of the donor, Ima Hogg.
